May Newsletter 2016
Our Bible verse for the month of May is:
“Do what is good.” Romans 13:3
This year has really gone by fast. As we look back we’ve had a lot of fun and learned many things. We’ve given thanks at our Thanksgiving Feast, sung Happy Birthday to Jesus at our Christmas Chapel, had our pictures taken in Western attire, gone for a ride on a pony, and most of all celebrated our risen Lord! We have learned Bible verses and enjoyed each others’ friendship and company. Can you believe we still have so much more ahead of us? All our classes are getting ready for the special event of the year, the annual Open House held on Monday, June 6th, at 6 pm. The children and teachers are working so hard to make sure their classrooms look wonderful for Open House, we are looking forward to seeing you there!
Mark your calendars!
May 2nd – VBS Open Registration Begins!
May 8th – Sunday, Happy Mother’s Day!
May 30th - There will be no school in observance of Memorial Day.
We wanted to send out a big thank you to Cami Marchand and Katie Dileo for giving our parents 2 full days of early bird VBS registration last month; we hope you all got a chance to sign-up!
Looking forward to June:
June 6th – 6 pm / Open House. The event of the year! All school dismissal at 12:00.
June 7th & 8th – The children will be entertained by “Education Through Nature” a fun, interactive animal program for our year end show!
June 14th & 15th – Spring year end chapel performances. Both performances begin at 9:15, in the main church Sanctuary. Please have your child signed into the classroom by 9:00 am. They will walk over to the chapel with their teachers. Friends and family members please go directly to the main church sanctuary.
June 15th – Last day of school. All school dismissal at 12:00 pm. Have a wonderful summer, we will miss you all so much!
Thank you all so much for an amazing year, we truly appreciate all our wonderful families!
May you be filled with His gifts and blessings!
